Our History
Since our founding, PWYA Initiative has assisted over 1000 (and counting) less-privileged individuals across communities in the Abuja area. Our team (entirely comprised of Nigerians) have an unparalleled knowledge of these communities – their challenges and opportunities.
Who We Are
PWYA initiative is a relatively new state-wide organisation currently located in the Kuje Area of Abuja. We work to provide free skill acquisition trainings, advocacy, financial support schemes among other empowerment strategies for less-privileged Nigerian women and youth.

Our Objectives
Poverty in developing countries remains a complex phenomenon and our approaches are reflective of this. Through these strategies we aim to;
Provide a means for sustenance and access to basic amenities
Educate and improve individual’s prospects for economic opportunities
Create a pathway to self reliance one step at a time
Advocate for the vulnerable groups (women and youth) which are impacted the most by extreme poverty
